Gerina-Piller
Her birthplace was Roswell on March 29, 1985. Gerina Michelle Mendoza was her name. Gerina Stevenson was born to Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. Her parents are of Mexican origins, however she is American with a US national. Her entire life has been an avid sportsperson. Gerina began to play golf at the age of 15. Gerina played at Goddard High School. When she was in high school, she took home the New Mexico state golf tournament. Additionally, she was a volleyball player and competed at the state level. 2003, she began studying at The University of Texas. During her senior years she won each tournament she participated in. Through her college career she took home awards such as the Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year Award and UTEP Female athlete of the year.
