Arike Ogunbowale
Arike Ogunbowale (born on April 2, 1985) is an American professional basket ball player. She is a player for the Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She was drafted with the 5th pick in the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Dallas Wings. Arike Ogunbowale, born in Milwaukee Wisconsin on March 2, 1997 to Yolanda Ogunbowale as well as Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are two of her siblings. As the youngest sister, she received the most attention from her parents. Gregory's father served in the Nigerian Army. In her high-school career she's had 73 career begins and 1,477 total points. She also lists 739 rebounds. Ogunbowale took gold at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship, 2014. FIBA U17 World Championship, and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship. The 7th of July, 2014 was the day that Ogunbowale was named to the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale, who is entering her first year of collegiate play, was named her ACC All-Freshman Team. Kobe Bryant even thanked her for her big shots during the NCCA Tournament.
