April Lockhart
April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She started the guitar and piano lessons in the 7th grade, which ignited her interest. At the age of 12, she composed her first single, Different. The year she turned 14 was when she was devoted for a long period of time in writing song ideas and practicing the music she was playing. Then she began to take excursions to write with her father in NY as well as LA. April also added additional themes to the song "Take My Hand" for some of the friends she had who struggled with problems like peer pressure, disabilities, and even teenager suicide. Lockhart is a partner at the well-known Clean Beauty brand Ilia and also is a lifestyle influencer with her own growing following. The disability she has is part of her persona, however it's not all of the of the picture. Lockhart's Instagram profile doesn't cover up her disability, but it does not just focus on it. It's a reminder. It's this: We all have numerous identities. We're much way more diverse than we think that we're. Lockhart has stated on video that she does not want to be defined solely by her physical disability. She doesn't wish to become a disability advocate who only talks about that. There are a variety of aspects to Lockhart. It doesn't impact my daily routine. I conduct the same way as I always do and have found different ways of adapting. It's a big aspect of my existence, therefore it's important to talk about it. Lockhart inspires us to keep moving forward with self-acceptance. Lockhart admits to having had periods where she felt uncomfortable in dressing in certain styles that displayed her arms. Now she wears whatever outfit she wants and posts pictures on Facebook with pride. The journey itself is the key thing I don't know that will ever be the end of self-love. However, I believe that's the case for everyone, whatever their insecurity is. It is essential to surround yourself with people who can really know the person you are.
