Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
As I was a mom with one child on me and others within the cradle would work 12 hour shifts grinding floors and cutting off wallpaper. Ha! All was beginning to fall into place, however it was not quite done. The house would need an enormous amount of work and a love to shop. In order to stay within my budget I took my kids along with me as I searched for hidden treasures at estate sales. Our routine was to walk around garage sales and auctions on the weekend as well as purchase various of pieces old and newly created. It was my job to spend the day in the driveway either painting or sanding. The look was similar to it... This is when my interest in the restoration of furniture first began. No matter what, our house had already been equipped. I had a stand in the market at my local location and sold pieces there. My collection eventually grew to the point that the space that I was living in was no longer adequate. I held open houses at my house where 1 thousand people would visit over a weekend, and they could purchase anything on the first floor. Growing Days was founded in my house. My business was not only thriving but I was growing my sweet family too. I was trying to find that perfect balance of having to start a new business as well as a mother too. Growing Days was the obvious choice. The year 2013 was the year my daughter Nora was our fourth baby. This was a fantastic direction for my business, but I also needed an escape. I decided to take some time off from my vintage furniture and slow down to be at home with my kids. This was just what I needed. Within a couple of months, my phone started to ring. They asked for assistance with interior decorating and home renovations. It was mostly those who came to my open residence to buy furniture. In the following months, I began to take on more clients, in my own way. Soon I had multiple customers and was operating a business of home renovations. When you first told me about my business in home renovation, I laughed. It's hilarious to look back on the idea.
