Jenna Fischer's most famous role was as Pam Beesly from the popular TV show The Office. In recognition of her work, she was awarded an Emmy award for Outstanding Actress in the Supporting Role. In addition, she won 2 SAG Awards.
She was born and raised in Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna grew up watching her mother Anne performing in church plays. It instilled in her an interest in theater.
Fischer is an actress with the theater background. Off-Broadway's production of Reasons to be Happy was directed and written by Neil LaBute, with Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb and Fred Weller. At the Old Globe Theatre's world premiere, she played opposite Greg Germann as well as Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's hilarious comedy Meteor Shower.

It was titled Office Ladies. The show has since become extremely popular and has landed in the Top Ten every single week. Its initial year, it had more than 200,000,000 downloads. Office Ladies was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
The Actor's Life was her first novel, and describes the path she traveled starting in St. Louis, Missouri to Hollywood and then to Hollywood, where she was an actress professionally. Her second, Office BFF's (co-authored by Angela Kinsey) is an autobiography of her closest friend, and her experience in The Office.
